As a player in Singapore Telco sector, you will have an advantage if you can demonstrate that you have the capability and capacity to bring cutting edge technology first to the market. And this is what Starhub done when it announces the pilot testing of its newest offering, a 21Mbps HSPA+ Network. HSPA+ is almost 3x faster than the current available mobile broadband which is HSDPA at 7.2Mbps.
This announcement makes StarHub the first operator in Asia-Pacific to have a mobile broadband network capable of speeds of up to 21Mbps.
You can participate in the pilot testing by registering online at www.starhub.com/hspaplus. Only 100 will be selected as the pioneer mobile broadband user of StarHub’s HSPA+ service. It is currently open to all Singapore citizens and residents. Registration closes on 15 April 2009.
Since I met the requirement, I tried my luck, signup and hopefully be pick-up from the who knows how many who are interested in this. They did not specify on how they will going to choose the 100 testers, they just stated that somebody from their Customer Care Consultant will contact shortly upon successful selection.
